Born in Mendoza, Argentina and living in Jerusalem, Adriana’s recent work focuses mainly on colorful, abstract urban landscapes, and is made in a unique technique on aluminum plates, covered by many layers of lacquer, that gives the work brightness and a very modern look.
Adriana is fascinated by urban architecture, as reflected by her work. It is tightly related to being an immigrant, and to her persistent search for the interior place of man in his environment.
The colorful paints in her work cooperate with the coldness of the aluminum, creating an aura of an urban dynamics. It is like depicting calm chaos – a mixture of freedom and order.
